Rehearsals were relaxed and most of the lines were forgotten, but my siblings and I put on one heck of a show. We had this unquenchable desire to create and be active. We formed a three-piece band with no instruments. We constructed haunted houses that weren't scary. And we constantly performed sketch comedy that was lacking humor and any semblance of writing. I don't remember a single performance, but I do remember the process. It was the magic of creativity, and the joy of changing the world, one un-costumed production at a time.
