The need for a kindergarten graduation seemed a bit unnecessary. After all, I was six and I could barely remember my telephone number. Yet when I put on that itchy robe and hilarious hat, I felt proud. I don't recall if I was Valedictorian, but I know they sent me to get the milk a lot. Regardless, I knew I was going on to bigger things, and that the door was going to be wide open to the joys of a full day of school.
