That was the final result of an afternoon I spent with Peter, my best friend growing up. When my Mom came home, I knew we were in trouble because she didn't say anything. It was on that day I knew Peter was going to be one of those lifelong friends, because he stayed to help me clean up. A tradition he upheld through high school and college.
