The construction was flawed and splinters were waiting to painfully stab my tiny fingers, but she was a beauty. My dad helped me build the car out of a block of wood; I did most of the construction work myself. Sure, half of the wheels didn't move and the legroom was sparse, but it was my pristine machine. My Dad supported me every step of the way, and he even let me pick out a color scheme that consisted of five main hues with several accent colors.
