Invite Jason to Speak for Your Organization!

An avalanche of things are clamoring for our attention. Schedules are stretched tighter than ever. Busyness and noise are drowning out the whispers of God.

Your parishioners are good people. They have big hearts, strong faith, and good intentions. But, even the best people… even your people… can experience “temporary burnout.”

Temporary burnout is a by-product of successful behavior. It happens when people focus their energy for extended periods of time. Maybe it’s working hard to provide for their family, driving the kids to practice and recitals, or volunteering to help out in the community. The result is always the same: stress

Stress is a hidden destroyer of the childlike faith that Jesus calls us to. It remains invisible. Left unchecked, it can lead to the development of a far more serious condition known as: Adultitis™, which can lead to strains in our relationships, our health, and our faith.

Is there a cure? Yes! Jason Kotecki is an expert at helping individuals and families become more God-centered by turning stress into laughter and having more fun each and every day.

Invite Jason to speak at your next event - Jason is a professional cartoonist and author of: “Escape Adulthood: 8 Secrets from Childhood for the Stressed-Out Grown-Up” who specializes in helping ignite spiritual sparks in stressed-out souls. He will help you transform your next program into an exciting and memorable event.

Book “Escape Adulthood” for your next community event – Have fun. Lighten up. Let your audience know you mean it when you tell them your next program is going to be something special.

About Jason's Programs

So many people and families today are struggling with overwhelming busyness, the alignment of priorities, the stresses of everyday life, and trying to figure out where faith fits into it all.

Our schedules, homes, and bellies are filled, and yet our hearts are longing for more. Jason reminds us that God didn't design life to be this way.

Amidst the fog, our faith often becomes hidden under layers of stress, doubt, and disappointment. Jason inspires parishioners to seek that faith that has become hidden. When we see things through the eyes of a child, our faith transforms into something enriching and beautiful.

At that time Jesus said, "I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and the learned, and revealed them to the childlike." –Matthew 11:25

Jason Kotecki assures us that Jesus was probably not advising that we start paying our bills with Monopoly money or limit our diets to chicken nuggets and macaroni and cheese. In this witty and humorous presentations, Jason inspires the participants with a look at some of the qualities that are central to developing the childlike faith God desires of us.

Jason's ministry events are fun, refreshing, and relevant. Knowing that cartoons have a way of crossing generations -- and that we live in an age of visual learners -- Jason provides a multimedia experience featuring live cartooning, with stories accented by his colorful artwork and photographs. Your group will love to hear how they can overcome Adultitis, that dreaded condition that leaves its victim jaded, bored, and depressed, with super high stress levels.

Your group will have the opportunity to share an evening of laughter and enrichment which inspires them to grasp a deeper understanding of faith, family, and fellowship.

Intergenerational Expertise

Since families are going in so many different directions from day to day, it’s more important than ever to provide them with an opportunity to experience something positive and wholesome together. Jason’s unique program is based on the whole community and life-long catechesis vision, gathering together households of faith in an intergenerational setting. He expertly crafts his message to appeal to the young and old alike.

He ignites spiritual sparks in stressed-out souls and invites the whole community to look at God in a fresh new way -- through the eyes of a child.

Being able to hold the attention of small children while providing a relevant and inspiring message for adults is a downright tricky task. But at the end of Jason’s intergenerational programs, you'll find the kids smiling from ear to ear, mom gushing that it was "just what she needed," and dad sheepishly admitting that he "actually got a lot out of it."

About Jason

Jason Kotecki is an artist, author, and speaker who travels the world encouraging people of all ages to create Adultitis-free lives, with less stress and more fun, by embracing strategies from childhood. Jason is a professional cartoonist and author of the book, "Escape Adulthood: 8 Secrets From Childhood for the Stressed-Out Grown-Up." He delivers a message that is often described as a cross between Dr. Phil and Mr. Rogers. He's an expert at helping individuals and organizations become more productive (and happier) by turning stress into laughter and having more fun each and every day.

As cofounders of the Cure Adultitis Institute and co-authors of the book, "The Escape Plan: A 40-Day Guide to Annihilate the Adultitis in Your Life," Jason and his wife Kim share practical steps and techniques that have been tested all over the world, to help rid your family (and faith life) of Adultitis.

In addition to their speaking events, they also fulfill their mission through their blog, monthly podcast, quarterly magazine, tv shows, cartoons and store.

Their exciting journey began when Jason used some doodles in a sappy attempt to win over Kim. Those early sketches evolved into the comic strip about childhood, Kim & Jason, which was first published in 2000, and also happens to be the year they were married.

Together, they will help you transform your next program into an exciting and memorable event.
