Interviewer: A local artist donates his talents and helps children find loving homes. Jason Kotecki writes and illustrations the comic strip “Kim & Jason.” This year he donated an illustration to the National Adoption Center. The illustration will be printed on Christmas cards and sold with all of the profits going to help special needs children find loving, permanent homes. Kotecki says one goal of his company is to enrich the lives of children everywhere.

Jason Kotecki: The reality is not every childhood is ideal and great, and that’s something that I’m very passionate about. So, we figured if we can do something to help children in different ways to have better childhoods, then that would be pretty cool.

Interviewer: The Koteckis prove that giving isn’t limited to the holidays. They give 3% of their profits every month to a favorite children’s charity.
