This episode was broadcast live, and because we were talking about all things Halloween, we decked out the set with pumpkins, cobwebs, skulls, and eyeballs floating in blood. Dressed in costume, we, and a bunch of Halloween-crazed viewers, discussed the best and worst Halloween candy ever, shared costume memories, and revealed 5 things you absolutely HAVE to do this Halloween. And if you’ve ever wondered how to tell if you have holiday-induced Adultitis, Kim & Jason Nation offered an array of pretty good warning signs.

Great show! I loved your costumes and suggestions, I’m going to carve a pumpkin right now. Also I wanted to share a Halloween tradition with you, every year we make slime cake. We pour green food coloring into the cake mix, bake it, then pour “slime” (green-colored pudding) on top. It’s delicious!
The slime cake sounds awesome, Jillian. Makes me think of the old Nickelodeon Show, “You Can’t Do That On Television.”

I had a great time listening to your show tonight. first time I’ve ever seen it, but I remember way back when, about 10 yrs ago when your website had the comics (which by the way I subscribed to receiving weekly for awhile) to childhood memories. I wrote about my favorite stuffed dog, pappy. He’s still around. My 3 yr old daughter now has him!
anyway, my favorite halloween candy definitely is reeses pb cup, but I also love kit kats. my husband and I have eaten a bag a week this month! my least favorite…definitely bit o honey, sugar daddy (pulled a tooth out with one once), pb chew and maryjanes.

I’m getting the idea that “sticky” candy is not your thing. That probably makes your dentist very happy :) Funny you mentioned the Kit Kats. They were one of the candies we gave out this Halloween and I’ve been devouring the leftovers like crazy. I’d forgotten how much I love them!
