I’m really excited to share a new line of t-shirts we’ve developed. They’re childlike and fun, and if you like reading this blog, probably right up your alley. You may notice a little bit of a theme; most of the shirts are inspired by childhood games. It started mostly by accident, but then I just decided to run with it. Seems appropriate for summer, no?
Right now they’re available to pre-order, and if you buy any two, you’ll get one for free. (You can also buy four and get two free, or buy 2,568 and get 856 free.) Anyhoo, here they are. I hope you think they’re groovy.
Adulthood Stinks
It’s a fact: there are times when we’d all agree that this whole adulthood thing, well…stinks. This t-shirt may not unburden you from the mountain of mortgage payments, credit card bills and computer crashes — what t-shirt could? — but at least you can lightheartedly let others know how you feel about it.
Red Rover
Over the years, the mysterious Red Rover has sent a lot of people in a lot of different directions. If you’ve survived clothesline injuries from playing this childhood game, you can wear this t-shirt with pride. And if people think you’re a little weird, at least they’ll be able to tell where you’re coming from.
Duck Duck Goose
At first glance, people who spot you wearing this t-shirt might just think you’re seriously into waterfowl, but you’ll know better. Of course, after the light bulb goes off and they get the whole “Duck Duck Goose” thing, they’ll probably think you’re the most witty person in the whole world.
Rock Paper Scissors
You could flip coins or draw straws, but let’s be honest: Rock Paper Scissors is the bomb. This universally loved game is fun AND practical (especially for making life-changing decisions.) Sport this shirt to let passersby know that, just like Bobby Flay, you’re always ready for a throwdown.
Olly Olly Oxen Free
Escaping adulthood is not for the timid. Olly Olly Oxen Free is a catchphrase used in the game of hide and seek to indicate that players who are hiding can come out into the open without losing the game. It may possibly be from a German phrase which loosely means “everybody is free!” Breaking free from the shackles of adulthood is not an easy thing, but this t-shirt will serve as an excellent reminder to let loose.
Hopscotch
A schoolyard classic. This little number signifies that not only is your childlike spirit is alive and well, but that you’re old school and proud of it. Of course your mad hopscotch skills go without saying.

love love LOVE them all and am so glad you printed all of them! Still lovin’ the hopscotch one the best, but my daughter likes duck duck goose and of course, the boy like rock paper scissors…. do they come in kid sizes?
Thanks Jill! Sorry, no kid sizes, but the small ones work pretty well for some kids (but not kids as young as our daughter Lucy :)
