As always, another delightful Kim and Jason Show! Love the First Aid Kit. Glad to hear your neighbors enjoyed their Sham Wow! I know I am dating myself with my suggestions for your best television show dads, but here I go.....Fred MacMurray as Steve Douglas on "My Three Sons, Robert Young as James Anderson on "Father Knows Best and Bill Bixby as Tom Corbett on "The Courtship of Eddie's Father!"
Thanks, Cindi

I'd have to say that Mike Brady from the Brady Bunch was my favorite TV dad. When I was a kid, the Brady Bunch was on every day after school. The character of Mike reminded me of my father because he was always teaching his kids values and lessons and was always the voice of reason. Oh, and like my dad in the 70s, Mike Brady had permed hair for awhile.

My second place vote would have to be Ward Cleaver from Leave it to Beaver. No real similarities to my dad, but his character was so fatherly and comfortable in his role.

# 1 by far- Ward Cleaver
# 2- Sheriff Andy Taylor
# 3- Fred Flintsone
Still can't believe you guys forgot about them... Idea... you should "redo" your top 10 TV dads with your viewer votes/poll.
Get with the program : ) Debbie

Doug I got your back 100 percent....adding Haratio Cane takes away all creditablity to the list. If anything we should feel sorry for all those kids out there that must be subjected to his horribly bad acting and chessy one liners....:)

Hmm...it would appear that Lucy is not a fan of toothpick swords. Oh well, I guess I can't win 'em all. :-) (Just wait...someday I'll sneak a toothpick sword into Lucy's kiddie cocktail. It'll be impaling that defenseless pitted cherry. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!)

Congratulations to Lucy on her first tooth! WOOOOHOOOO!!!!

I approve of Jason's choice of sweaters. That's an awesome one.

As for TV fathers, I would have added Carl Winslow and Ricky Ricardo. Kaito Nakamura or Noah Bennett might be in the top 20 for me. Heathcliff Huxtable was an excellent choice, though. I was gonna go with Huxtábile, personally.

I like the idea of starting with #8. I don't think I've ever seen a top-10 list that puts them in a completely random order. What's up with that? Why not reveal them 8, 3, 9, 2, 10, 5, 7, 4, 6, 1 (or some other random order)? 10-1 is so predictable. :-)
