We always ate a 5:00 PM. Every Thursday my parents went grocery shopping because that was when the sales started. Lucky for us kids, we ate an easy dinner for Mom to prepare, CHEESEBURGEERS!-our favorite.

I always enjoy watching your show. It helps me to get energized for my week and Lucy cracks me up to watch.

However I will say I was slightly bummed with one of your pop clips. The dancing frog??? You totally should have used a clip from The Muppet Movie. Doc Hopper’s frog legs… how appropriate. The Muppet’s are an all-time classic.

Ok I apologize for that. You guys are great and I love the message that you teach and live. Thanks for all your dedication to such a great cause!

Love this show! You are very entertaining. It is always fun to begin my week with your episodes!
Although, my mom and dad were not formally very educated; she quit school after the eighth grade and my dad finished high school (then was drafted into WWII),
They wanted their three children to all have college degrees. Every evening at our dinner table, each of us
had to tell about a new word we had learned that day!
I have carried the tradition on with my own family!

K & J,

First, the Spatula City ads brought back some funny memories. Are you going to do a show on Twinkie Weiner Sandwiches?

Second, we had one tradition at harvest time in the summer. Growing up, we would come in from the field for lunch and my dad could guess the pie Grandma cooked every time! We were amazed at his skills. He would come in from washing up, we would all sit down and he would tentatively sniff the air and lick his lips. Then he would guess. He was right, every time. I should have had an inkling that something shady was going on but all kids want to believe in that little bit of magic. I think I was 21 or 22 before I was told of the shenannigans. My dad and his mom would communicate over the CB radio sometime in the morning. Who would believe my sweet little grandmother fiendishly awaited the daily trickery with my father? I don’t remember.
