Thursday Giveaway: Snack & Stack

by Jason on 11/13/2008 in Thursday Giveaway

Every Thursday, we pick out one of the cool things from the Kim & Jason Lemonade Stand and give it away. Yep, for free.

This week’s prize is a Snack & Stack. The silicone handles of these mid-size utensils lock together securely for easy storage and packing, not to mention endless amusement. Perfect for lunch boxes, picnics, your desk drawer or glove box.

Here’s how to enter:

  1. Just leave a comment on this post, answering this week’s question: “When you were a kid, if you had an unlimited number of LEGO bricks, what would you have most wanted to build?’”
  2. Deadline for entries is 11:59 pm CST on the day of the post. We’ll pick a winner from the list of comments on the following Friday.
  3. We’ll contact the winner by e-mail to find out where to send the prize.

Good luck! And don’t miss any of the other cool stuff for the young at heart at The Kim & Jason Lemonade Stand!

**UPDATE: This week’s winner was Cubby:

I might have felt the desire to build a large spaceship.  Of course, finding a way to irradiate the lego reactor core to propel the ship in space would have proven difficult.  They are still melting way before enough power is generated.  Becoming more like superman everyday, however, is diminishing the necessity for a spaceship.  Maybe I would have built a large city so I could leap buildings in a single bound.  Maybe a large bullet that I could run faster than (pretty easy if it is not fired out of a gun).  The possibilities are endless!

Even though this week’s contest is over, you can still buy your very own Snack & Stack at the Kim & Jason Lemonade Stand. And stay tuned next week for the next chance to win!

I’d build a pirate ship and ocean with great white sharks and a buried treasure with a skeleton guarding it.

A fort to play at my Grandfather’s farm with my brother and sisters. We played up in the hayloft most days – but a Lego fort would have been just a wee bit more sturdy sometimes!

Tina – love your idea!

I wanted to build a circus tent big enough to play in. Filled with all the rings and clowns including the elephants. I would have horses with riders and trapeze acts. All so I could be the circus master.

I loved all the “people” and enjoyed mixing them up. So I loved to built little cities — of course all my “buildings” were pretty small, but my imagination did the rest. I still have all the lego’s by the way.

I probably would have built a giant doll house that even I could have fit in.

For the longest time, I wanted to build a Airplane for my little Lego people, so they could go on vacation. But I never had the right parts to do it :(. So if I had an unlimited number and type of Legos, I would build that Airplane!

My youngest son is the original “Lego Kid!” By the age of 2 1/2 years, he was putting small Lego sets together by trial and error. No instructions. He has built some pretty amazing things! Without a doubt, if I would have had an unlimited amount of Lego bricks,I would have built a Fort because I was a big fan of “F-Troop!”
Please enter me in your delightful drawing! My son would get a lot of enjoyment and amusement from your “Snack and Stack” utensils! ( So would my husband )…..( And
nephew ) LOL. Many thanks, Cindi

K & J,

Sweet Giveaway! If I had a set of these I would definitely be hiding them away from my kids.

When I was a kid my brother possessed all the Legos. I would sneak a bunch away and build stables for my array of My Little Ponies but I never could steal enough to make the stables the way I imagined they should look. I think if I had had an unlimited supply of Legos I would have built wall to wall My Little Pony stables in my room.

It had to be a castle. I would imagine a dragon, tower and drawbridge. It would have been perfect!

I always wanted a play kitchen so I would have built that.

So cool… first, I’d build a life size horse in the EXACT image of my favorite imaginary one.

Then, I’d build out the floor of half our playroom to be a city/town/railroad “set” for all the cars and GI joes and barbies. Scaling things might be an issue with the different sizes, but I’m pretty sure it’d work.

Then (we are talking unlimited, right?) a tent to camp out in. Maybe even a firepit, and possum rooting near the tent!

Hubby says he’d build a farm: big barn, fences, horses, cows, pigs, chickens. And a dog. with a doghouse. Tractors, silo, farmhouse with big porch and rocking chairs and swings.

PS- Just found you today. LOVE.LOVE.LOVE the strip. Also love the liberal use of K&J initials…
