Every Thursday, we pick out one of the cool things from the Kim & Jason Lemonade Stand and give it away. Yep, for free.
This week’s prize is an Aeroplane Kit. Ready for an afternoon in the clouds? Well get on your pilot’s goggles and get ready for takeoff. This high performance rubber band powered airplane was constructed with state of the art aerodynamics in mind. Not quite NASA dynamics, but close. Simply assemble to components in the kit and your airplane will be flying in no time, up to 100 meters to be exact! You can even adjust the positioning of the components to alter the trajectory of your flight.
Here’s how to enter:
- Just leave a comment on this post, answering this week’s question: “If you had a free ticket to fly anywhere in the universe, where would you go?”
- Deadline for entries is 11:59 pm CST on the day of the post. We’ll pick a winner from the list of comments on the following Friday.
- We’ll contact the winner by e-mail to find out where to send the prize.
Good luck! And don’t miss any of the other cool stuff for the young at heart at The Kim & Jason Lemonade Stand!
**UPDATE: This week’s winner was Dora:
Hmmm, the question says anywhere in the “universe”. In that case, I’d say outer outer space, through black holes and worm holes and warped space-time-energy-whatnot so I can see and prove once and for all whether there are any alien life forms out there. If not, then we can all get back to our normal daily lives, thinking about what to eat for lunch. :)
If I am restricted to just Earth *gasp*, the only place to be in right now is London.
Even though this week’s contest is over, you can still buy your very own Aeroplane Kit at the Kim & Jason Lemonade Stand. And stay tuned next week for the next chance to win!

My husband is like a little boy about airplanes so I hope to win this for him.
If I had a ticket to anywhere I would go to Arizona just because it isn’t too far away for it would be my first flight and because I like the dry weather.
If I had a ticket to go anywhere, I’d go to Japan, or maybe Hawaii, or Paris. Could it be a golden ticket that gets you on any flight you want, I have too many places that I want to go to.

The isle of Ireland/Scotland, where my forefathers roamed the hills and the glens barefooted in the damp sod and heather. Where the accent of the speech make women swoon and men sound like warrior poets. Deep emerald green hills are filled with rock making the acension to the top athletes out of wee ones running up and down, to and fro; until they become young adults looking unto each other to run and frolic upon the hills of the isles. It calls to me this land of my family. That is why I love the hills of Virginia, I know what my kin knew; in the early morning mist, if you listen well – you can hear the highlander droan his bagpipes or his olee. If I go this place, I may not come back. :-)
Well, I don’t have the lyricsm of the posts that have already been submitted, but I’d go to Assisi. I’d like to spend some time wandering around this wonderfully quiet medieval town, spend some time at the tombs of St Francis and St Clare, and just wonder at the beauty of the countryside around it. I was just there with a tour group – and didn’t have nearly enough time to explore! Then I’d hop down to Roma and spend some time wandering around the fountains and churches of this beautiful city. Ah, bellissima!
I’ve long said that I wanted to be part of the first colony on Mars, and I’d still choose that. (As long as my DH and daughter can come along!) Unfortunately, I don’t believe the first mission to Mars will need someone of my talents (I help people teach and learn online, and I doubt there will be much call for this during the *first* mission), so I better win this ticket instead!
As a kid, I dreamed of becoming an astronaut. At that time, you had to be a pilot in the air force first. So I spent a couple years dreaming of that and reading what I could about being an astronaut (and wishing I had enough money to go to Space Camp). I later learned that my eyesight is too poor to qualify for flight school (and that I am a conscientious objector) so I changed paths. It’s too bad really, as now all sorts of scientists–and others–can be astronauts.
Oh, yeah, I forgot to mention: I should also win because it’s EAA this week in Oshkosh, where I live. My daughter is fascinated by the airplanes and we’re constantly rushing to the windows or outside to see what’s flying overhead. Each night, the three of us “fly like an airplane” to bed. I’d love to make an airplane for her to fly!
Well, it already passed, but I would’ve flown to Japan to the Star Wars Celebration on July 19th! It was the 30th anniversary of Star Wars and it would have been SO cool to be there.
I would fly to all the Disney parks in the world. What fun it would be to be a kid in all different places and have a magical time.
I would go to Honolulu, and go snorkeling in beautiful Hanauma Bay! My husband and I went there on our honeymoon 25 years years ago. At the time, we said we wanted to go back every year. Unfortunately, we haven’t been back since. I would love to go there now with my husband and kids!
I would travel to Scotland. I’ve always been intrigued by cities so much older than the US.
Hawaii to visit my family. I know that’s not too adventurous but since its a free ticket and airfares are pretty expensive, that’s what I really want and will make me the happiest right now!
If you mean Universe, I would opt for flying to Mars. It would be fun to see up close what the exploratory vehicles have been finding. If restricted to the World as we know it, then I would like to fly to Brett Farves home town and talk some sense into him bout staying retired from football – once and for all!
Hmm, the universe?! I think it would be awesome to go to Venus…then send the hubby to Mars ;0)
Great giveaway! Count me in. bebemiqui82(at)yahoo(dot)com
Paris I think…….
If I could fly anywhere ….. I think I would pick
Hawaii! I’ve always wanted to go there.
I’d go to Australia.
I’d have to say Australia. But, I need to beg for 3 more tickets. I can’t go without my family. My son makes me laugh and my daughter stole my heart. If I can’t go overseas, since I am whining for 3 extra tickets, how about DC? The place not the comics. Would like to be round all the presidential history. You know the time, when leaders, really if you know history were just like they are today.
Hello! They are starting to find out more interesting things about Mars. Just yesterday, I heard they think there is water on the planet. If there is water, that means there me be viable life! Fly me to the moon (Mars)! That is my destination. I would love to win your “Aeroplane!” My husband designs for the F-15 and he loves anything to do with flight! Please enter me in your delightful flying contest. Thanks, Cindi
I would go to the Hershey Park in PA!!!!!
