Duck, duck, goose! I introduced this game to my 4th & 5th grade group with a twist…. we put a whoopee cushion in the place that the person that got “goosed” or tapped, would have to sit. So, when they were tapped, got up ran around to where the previous person was sitting they delightfully PLOPPED down on that ole’ cushion and everyone shrieked w/ laughter. It went on and on and on… one of their favorite games.. everyone wanted to sit on the cushion!!!!!!

AnnMarie — Is Duck, Duck, Grey Duck a real game?
Cheri — Ooh…I like the idea of adding a whoopee cushion into the mix! Is there anything that ISN’T more fun with a whoopee cushion?

Oh, yes, it’s the exact same game!
I was always the weird one. I’d invented my own version that was at least played by my friends at at my school. Duck, duck, grey duck was too easy and boring. So we put color names on all the ducks so you had to listen carefully for grey duck.
For info, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duck_duck_goose Although it says grey duck is only in MN, I grew up in SD with it and have heard others around the country say the same. Someone else also says it’s only in MN, http://www.gray-duck.com/gray-duck/
