I kind of liked bedtime, because I was allowed to read in bed pretty much as long as I wanted (that’s how I remember it, anyway). I loved getting all cozy with a book.

I loved the moments when my mum brought me to bed. She then took my cuddly toys and made them speak with different voices. They all had different personalities and made me laugh or taught me something. As only child, I felt like having many sisters and brothers. Mind you, I am 36 years old and I still have those toys…

The best time i had during my days as a kid was getting ready to school until I reach school.I miss the times when I used to get restless waiting for 15 - 20 mins outside my home waiting for my school van. I get quite nostalgic now, as I get to see my kids do the same.

Any time on Saturday, Sunday and summer! Mind you, I did enjoy school so I didn’t hate going there - but getting out and having an endless amount of time ahead of you in the summer to play, swim, catch those lightning bugs, and do all sorts of fun things was just the bestest!

Favorite time of day as a child???
Lunchtime. Who doesn’t LOVE to eat????

My fave time would be when we got out of school! I’d rush home and see what’s there to eat or go over to a friend’s house!! Such fun times! ![]()

I liked the afternoon. Right after school got out - because I often got to go to Grandma’s and play. I loved Grandma’s house. She always had cookies or something sweet and a HUGE YARD to play in. I never watched TV at Grandmas, but there was ALWAYS music. I miss her.

My favourite time of day was when school got out - I found school SO terribly boring, but I loved to read :). Great clock, hope Canadians can enter!

Love the “Book Clock!” I am one of those that have more books than wall space. I liked the twilight time in the summer. When I was young, there were oodles of fireflies to be caught. I loved to put them in a jar, with holes for breathing and see the jar light up like magic when it became dark outside! I always let them go. It used to make me sad when some of the neighborhood kids would make rings from the light of the fireflies. I would love to win your adorable clock. Thanks for all of the fun contests. Cindi

I LOVED waking up at 8:00 on Saturday mornings and knowing I didn’t have to get up for 2 more hours.
This clock is fabulous.

Probably around 10 AM, all the kids would be out in the neighborhood, so I could always find someone to play with. We would dig up clay in the cow field, slide down the ditches on flattened cardboard boxes, or go swimming in somebody’s pool. And during each one of these activities, my dog Morgan was always by my side, we used to call her ‘Mother Hen’.

It wasn’t EVERY day, but I’d have to say the times after supper when my dad would develop a taste for some ice cream and we’d get in the car and head to A&W or Dairy Queen. He was the biggest kid of all ![]()

when i was a kid my favorite time of day was either really early in the morning or really late at night (still is) because the house was quiet and i could read or color or listen to adventures in odyssey ![]()

I loved after school, right after homework was done because I was allowed to go hang out in the backyard on the hammock!

My favorite time of the day was 8am on Saturdays, because it was the only time you could watch cartoons. On every other day of the week, it was 3pm, because that’s when we got out of school. In the summertime, it was any part of the day. Because summer was the best. Thanks so much for the opportunity.

It just depended on the day—sometimes I got to visit with my grandma after school– I enjoyed that. (getting store bought cookies and sometimes coffee!) She told me stories about her own childhood…and her beautiful little sister, Olava who died when she was just a girl.

My favorite time of day was when school let out in the afternoon. I’m 68, and school was harsh, strict and miserable. When that dismissal bell rang, I felt free!

My favorite time of day as a kid was always right after dinner (usually around 6 or 7) when our parents would send us outside to play until bedtime. I loved it!!! Thanks for the chance to win this super cute clock!!

It was bedtime for me that was my favorite time of day. I was a bit of a tense little thing growing up and night time was the only time of day I felt relaxed! Fortunately, I’ve outgrown most of my anxieties, but I still love the night!

When I was a child, my favorite time of day was right after school (around 4pm). This was my favorite time because I looked forward to going home to have a snack and watch a couple of my favorite shows. Thanks for the chance. This is a really neat clock!
Comment by Ilissa H. on 6/12/2008 @ 5:07 pm
Probably 12:00 PM on Sundays, 9:00 AM on Mondays, 1:00 PM on Tuesdays, 3:00 PM on Wednesdays, 11:00 AM on Thurdays, 5:00 PM on Fridays, and 8:00 PM on Saturdays. As for why… Just the feeling at those times was something to appreciate. Lunchtime was always good too.

I used to like “after school” time the best..I would ride my bike for hours until dinner.
Oh..this book clock is fantastic…I just love it..thanks so much!

My favorite time was definately after school let out and we would run home, change clothes and head out the door to play until supper. Lots of good memories! Thanks for your giveaway!

My favorite time of the day had to be in the morning for the daily cartoons! I always watched the normal line-up: rugrats, doug, sailor moon, david the knome, & mr. rodgers with his crazy puppets. Gosh, good times.
Comment by Danni on 6/12/2008 @ 6:58 pm
Morning because I had the whole day ahead of me.

I loved sunrise on the weekends when I was a kid. That’s when the Pink Panther cartoons were on, and I had the TV to myself.
Comment by Debbie Dorsett on 6/12/2008 @ 7:15 pm
every saturday night my mom would make the most special dessert for the family. it could be some sort of pudding, pie or ice cream cake. she would put a lot of work into making it special just for us kids. we were always excited to see what she had made.
Comment by SECAVEN on 6/12/2008 @ 8:00 pm
My favorite time was 3 o’clock, when school was dismissed. I’d run home and get a snack and sit in front of the TV.
Comment by Karen R on 6/12/2008 @ 8:31 pm
Dinner time (around 6 PM) my dad would be home and we would all sit down together for dinner. Most of the other times he was either at work or helping on my Grandpa’s farm.
Comment by Carla B. on 6/12/2008 @ 9:33 pm
My favorite time of day was just after dark because it was cooler then (no AC) and the lightning bugs came out.
Comment by Kat Bryan on 6/12/2008 @ 10:02 pm
My favorite time of day was around 5pm because that is when we’d make cookies or help my mom/dad stir dinner.

My favorite time was at 5:30pm when my mom would pick me up at my babysitter’s house. I enjoyed going home and helping cook supper, eating, and then watching TV!
