I always find that stretching is a great stress relief. I guess I need to remind myself to do it more than others since my job requires me to sit at a computer for most of the day.
I also subscribe to a daily text message service on stress relief. The online site I use, iliveinspired.com, has a bunch of other text messaging communities. Stress reduction is the only one I get now, but I’ve been thinking about adding another.
And speaking of Oprah…the founders of this company are walking across the state of Illinois to try to get a meeting with her…a little crazy, but more power to them. We all need inspiration from somewhere.

#1 Jumping into the puddle was my favorite as a kid. Thank you for reminding me. I live in Oregon, where it rains A LOT. . . I am heading out to do it now.

Totally agree with #12 (maybe without painting the toenails). Even if it doesn’t lower my stress level, I definitely feel comfortable and relaxed, which helps lower stress. And it just plain feels good!

Allow me to add to my own comment. . .
According to my mother, “Usually kids go out WHEN IT CLEARS to jump into the puddle. You wanted to go out while it was still raining.”

Wonderful list! It’s funny, I’ve never really thought of Spring as stressful — it’s always just been a truly wonderful season for me, but I love the ideas you share here…
Hey, maybe that’s idea 28: Share one thing you love with someone else!
