    Daily [or] Weekly (Huh?)

Every Thursday, we pick out one of the cool things from the Kim & Jason Lemonade Stand and give it away. Yep, for free.

This week’s prize is a scoop of California Dreaming Bath Ice Cream. Pamper yourself with some bath ice cream, a flavorful and moisturizing scoop of luxury for your tub. It’s like a big scoop of soda for your bath. When you drop one into your tub, the bath ice cream will begin to fizz and release oils, minerals, and fragrances into the water. As you soak in the tub, your skin will absorb all this great stuff! When you emerge, your skin will feel moisturized and smell great — and you will be re-energized.

Here’s how to enter:

  1. Just leave a comment on this post, answering this week’s question: “What was your favorite bath toy as a kid?”
  2. Deadline for entries is 11:59 pm CST on the day of the post. We’ll pick a winner from the list of comments sometime on the following Friday.
  3. We’ll contact the winner by e-mail to find out where to send the free prize.

Good luck! And don’t miss any of the other cool stuff for the young at heart at The Kim & Jason Lemonade Stand!

UPDATE: This week’s winner was Jean:

Being a child of the eighties, I had a Cabbage Patch that was one of the “bathing” ones. She was plastic and had a little swim suit and robe w/ red sandals.

Stay tuned next week for the next chance to win!

My favorite toy was a wash cloth and a bar of soap. We didn’t have any toys, but I would lather up the wash cloth with soap, then lay it on the water and bring the corners together under the water, making like a bubble with the wash cloth, you squeeze and then little bubbles would come out. Very fun:)

My favorite bath toy was a plastic, pink and yellow boat. The top half, which was yellow, could be snapped off the hull of the boat, and I could put random things in the boat — like a Weeble Wobble. Then I’d generate bathtub tidal waves until the ship sank.

My favorite bath toy as a child was a Gilligan’s Island set for the tub. It had many of the characters. We used to do the episodes that we had seen on televisions (reruns) and get all wrinkly.

Thanks for the great giveaway!

I had one particular doll that I would always bring into the bath with me. You could make her hair short but winding up a flower-shaped button in her back or make it long again by pressing in her navel and pulling her hair. Her hair got pretty ratty after a while.

My favorite bath toy as a kid wasn’t a toy at all!! My grandma used to give me her old pots, pans, and tupperware!!! As as child we lived next door to her and I would go over after dinner for my nightly bath just to play with the dishes!!! I remember spending so much time simply playing with the bubbles making “bubble soup” ; ) Ha…thanks for the memories!!

As a kid, my favorite bath toy was a small blue tug boat. This boat had a yellow button on it, and when the button was depressed, the toy would squirt water out the front of the boat. I also enjoyed baths without toys–I loved sitting on the floor of the tub and scooting back and forth, which would in turn push the water back and forth (and much would end up on the floor, much to my mother’s dismay).

one of my barbies that my brother had cut most of the hair off of. LOL. Under the water her small amount of hair was still golden and flowing. hahaha… plus when she was under long enough you could pull her out and squeeze her head and the water would shoot out of her earring holes!
