Glad that the new story is going well, Jason. Congratulations on following your dream, even when your dream changes from what you expected. You’re an inspiration!

It takes a lot of courage to follow your dreams, even though you don’t completely know where they will lead. Good luck with the story, I look forward to seeing it someday!

As long as you’re in the center of God’s will, you will do just fine, and I think you already know what that will is…
You have a marvelous gift, and you know, you can pick it back up at anytime, right?

Wow! It is brave to move away from the familiar and safe and explore something new. Jason, I’m proud of you!
I am relieved to know I’ll still get my K&J fix in the morning and look forward to making the six year cycle… but I can’t wait to see what you do next — no doubt it will be fabulous!
Woo Hoo! Eliz

Congratulations on the new path, Jason! Every day is an adventure, isn’t it?

I wish you all the luck in the world with your new project and admire you very much for taking this step. What an excellent example to us all, that you have figured out what was wrong in your life and how you can fix it. I shall continue to read the comic strip every day as I have only discovered it in the last year and so have lots that will be new to me. And, after all, I still read Calvin and Hobbes every day after all these years!!

You guys are great! Thanks for all the wonderful encouragement. It means a lot!

At first I was sad to hear this, but now that I hear, as a relatively new reader, that there are six years of archives for me to read, I am relieved.
In the long run, each of us must do what is best for us; I applaud you for following your gut and your heart.

Jason,
I’ve been enjoying the daily strip fix for several months now, and I’m glad I’ll be able to see the rest of what I’ve been missing!
I’m looking forward to what’s next for K&J!

Jason,
God has given you the talent and idea to pursue, along with lots of fans/friends who will continue to support you by reading your blogs, cartoons, and whatever else you present to us. You have many people in your corner, so with God as your GPS, Go For It!

“Kim & Jason” has been the rarest and sweetest of spices to add to my daily life. I came to it somewhat late so I look forward to seeing all the ones I missed. As far as I’m concerned, you can re-run them forever — I just never want to have a day without K&J in my e-mail.
Thank you for all you give. May your returns be even greater.

Wow. I am saddened and gladdened at the same time. As a relatively new reader of Kim & Jason I’m sad to see the strip go. (Although I’m thrilled that it will be available through the insider. I’ve really been wanting to send in $$$ for the Club K&J, so I’m hoping for that soon too.)
At the same time I think the new comic book/children’s book - how cool! And in color - how can that be a bad thing? Above all, I’m glad you’re changing and growing. To be stuck doing something you don’t love really brings down your energy (things suddenly take twice as long.) I hope this new venture will reawaken the creativity you felt when you first started the strip.
By the way - love the changes to the site! I love the new pictures, and the new categories (especially Kim & Jason news). I haven’t even found all the changes yet, but it looks really good.
You’re doing a fantastic job. I love the Wishmas store (I did feel like I was there with all the pictures.) The blog is one of my favorite features, you guys have such great stories and fun posts. The comic strip and store rock. An all-around A#1 job!
Merry Christmas to you, Kim and all of your staff. May you have many more prosperous years ahead! :0)

Those astute longtime Kim & Jason fans out there probably have noticed that this year’s strips have been familiar. That’s what we in the biz like to call re-runs. I have spent the bulk of this year in sabbatical mode, trying to decide what direction to go with Kim & Jason.
