Every Thursday, we pick out one of the cool things from the Kim & Jason Lemonade Stand and give it away.

This week’s prize is a Balloon Modeling Kit. If you’ve ever wanted to be able to make an elephant out of a balloon — and let’s be honest, who hasn’t? — this kit is your ticket! It contains everything you need to create your own fantastic balloon sculptures, including 30 balloons, a balloon pump, and full instructions.

Here’s how to enter:

  1. Just leave a comment on this post, answering this week’s question: “If you were a balloon animal, what kind of balloon animal would you be?”
  2. Deadline for entries is 11:59 pm CST on the day of the post. We’ll pick a winner from the list of comments sometime on the following Friday.
  3. We’ll contact the winner by e-mail to find out where to send the free prize.

Good luck! And don’t miss any of the other cool stuff for the young at heart at The Kim & Jason Lemonade Stand!

UPDATE: This week’s winner was Katie Baird. Stay tuned next week for the next chance to win!

Ya know…I’ve not seen a wide variety of balloon animals made! Mostly the lit’l wiener dog, a sword, a hat or a giraffe…

But, since this is MY imagination we’re talkin’ about here, if I were a balloon animal today I’d like to be that giraffe. Giraffes are just so fascinating to me–my girlie had one appear to smooch her at the zoo one year!
Yep, giraffe today–tomorrow, who knows?!?

Let’s see…if I were an animal….made with balloons…hmmm…I think I’d like to be an eagle. That way I’d be able to soar above all creation and see things a little more from “God’s point of view”. But I agree with DanaB. that’s today. Who knows what tomorrow will bring???

I’d have to go with a hippo. A nice, round-edged, toothy old hippopotamus.

Wait, I reread your post and want to be clear, I don’t think of my old human self as hippo-like!

I just think that big, fat, colorful balloons would result in an awesome hippo.

Yep, a hippo. Definitely.

I’d say an octopus…then I could get lots of stuff done!

I’ve always been a big fan of insects. But it might be kinda hard to make a balloon into something so small…

Well, I was the luck winner of this one and I have loved making my first couple of balloon animals. Nothing looks like a hippo or any other known species, but this kit is a gas to play with and perfect timing: my little 3-yr-old granddaughter had her tonsils and adenoids out this week, so grandma has been bringing her different balloon creations every day to boost her spirits. Thanks guys!
