As always, a post and a story that touch me when I need it most. I would like to think my mom tried to live her life like she had always hoped, but I know she didn’t quite to accomplish all that she had hoped. We DO learn so much from others and the choices they make. Thanks for the touching story.

What a wonderful post. I love Dorothy’s story – she sounds like a beautiful soul. I would add that, if you do something special for someone else, even if they don’t appreciate it, you’ll still feel good for making the effort.

P.S. My dog is 15 years old (rather old for a dog) and she faces each day with an open heart and an eager face. May I hope to be such a bright light in my dimming days.

Very cool story. Long live Dorthy! I love those ladies who are proud to tell you their age and talk about all of their adventures. They realize that age is “just a number”, not something that ticks another year off your “life chart”. Take care down there in Arizona. It’s raining up here in Wisconsin today!
