That’s a great quote by Jim Rohn, and one that definitely rings true for me. I find myself having to be very intentional about who I invest my time in, for if they are negative, then sometimes they can infect me. Thankfully you and Jason are great booster shots for these negative folks.

Kim what a great post! I love the Eeyore versus Tigger idea. It makes me laugh because I don’t express myself this well in person. I’d probably be mistaken for an Eeyore. See my article “Nobody told my face I was happy” posted today.

Hey Kim! The only way to keep a rainbow above me would be to be standing under the dark storm cloud in the pouring rain. The only way to enjoy a rainbow is to have passed through the storm and watched it blow off away from the sun. The rainbow appears at an angle of 42ยบ from the sun, displayed against the dark clouds, refracting through the raindrops. Careful with the analogies!

Hi “Tigger,”
You bring up a great point…
In order to truly appreciate the sun, you have to wait in the darkness….
My overall point was that it’s all about the “half-full”/”half-empty” attitude check. Life is always giving us lemons… it’s just a matter of wether we’re sucking on the sour lemons… or enjoying the sweet joys of lemonade. Hope you’re enjoying the lemonade…
Thanks for your perspective.
