I love listening to the crickets sing outside our window at night.
I also went exploring, but in these dirt hills behind our house. It was like a huge desert to me. It’s funny how small you realize things really are after you’ve grown up.

We had a ravine behind our house…I wonder how big it would look to me now…

Summershine — Crickets! That’s what I forgot! I knew there was another insect I wanted to mention in the wonderful Slumberland Orchestra.
Rebekah — Thanks for stopping by. Come back anytime!
Mary — Something about ravines just scream big time childlike adventure. Thanks for the cool topic!

This brought back many memories of long, late night visits with my lady friends at your house.

I remember packing for a full day of outdoor adventure, exploring the ravine next to our house. It’s funny how small it looks now, but back then it was the size of the Amazon rain forest. I learned that you are only limited by the size of your imagination.
