Jason……are you wearing a TIE in that picture?!?!? Does it at least have cartoon characters on it? I, of all people, have nothing against ties (shameless plug….click my name), but it’s a shock to see you in one ![]()

Yes, that IS a tie I’m wearing. Unusual for me, but considering that some people were wearing tuxedos, I figured we could meet in the middle.
Rest assured, it was a Mickey Mouse tie.
Side note: Whether it’s a wedding or an awards gala, who ever thought the best time for a dance is when everybody is wearing their most uncomfortable shoes? My feet are still sore…

Jason, I am glad that Kim and yourself had a great time in Orlando. Thanks for the web link for Dan Menendez. I enjoyed watching his videos. Keep doing what you are doing. I was also glad to hear Ruth was able to see you in Rockford.

I don’t think we let ourselves truly anticipate heaven. It’s confusing for us because “no one knows for sure.” Maybe in the anticipating, we will be inspired to live the life we were meant to live, in the short time we are given. [...]

[...] In a "full circle" moment, Kim and I had a chance to chat and get a picture with Charlie "Tremendous" Jones, a man I wrote about after last year’s convention. He is so positive, so cheerful, humble and uplifting. I like being around people like that, don’t you? [...]
