I had the chance to visit San Francisco this summer - had a great child-like experience riding the carousel on Pier 39! I also took a picture in front of a store on the pier - “Chocolate Heaven” - I can’t wait to go back to the Bay! ![]()

My son James and I attended your Family Workshop. What a wonderful afternoon - you were delightful! It turned out I was happy that only James(12) and I could make it as it was a nice experience to share with just him at this point in his life. My children continue to be sure that my husband and I do NOT contract adultitis!! Thanks to you both.

The designs took turns decorating my computer’s desktop throughout the year, reminding me about the goals we set. San Francisco. Seattle. Boston. Daytona Beach. As of this past February, speaking engagements have led us to every single one of those places. [...]

Kim and I are back from San Francisco. What an excellent trip it was. Both speaking engagements went splendidly. The family program was a blast. I always love how the dads sheepishly come up to me afterwards saying how much they got out of it. (Including references to superheroes and Star Wars helps, I’m sure.)

We got a glimpse of the Golden Gate Bridge, and spent a morning touring Alcatraz. The touristy Fisherman’s Wharf offered up a dizzying array of childlike glee, especially from the creative panhandlers (
