Kim! That was awesome! I feel so honored! It’s funny that you sent this to me today, because today it finally started to snow here! YEAH! It just started about 3 hours ago and hasn’t stopped yet! Yippee! I’m not as high tech as you are, so I don’t know if I will be able to document it, but do know that I will make you an angel too! ![]()

Hi Renee,
WOW- that is so funny that you are getting some snow also. Have fun making the angel and be careful for the snow up your sleeve!

I took my 1-year-old daughter out in the snow for the first time yesterday. She loved it, especially walking (holding my hands) around in it. She just giggled and giggled and giggled. We didn’t make a snow angel however. She didn’t really enjoy being on her back in the snow, and the dogs kept running over her. She seemed a bit perplexed when one mitten came off and she had snow on her hand. She just stared at it until I fixed it. Since I, too, love the snow, I’m looking forward to lots more snowstorms this year so we can go out all the time!

We have snow here in Chicago, too!
Thanks Kim, for sharing your play time with us! I sent it to a friend in San Francisco who has NEVER seen “real” snow!!

[...] God, there’s nothing quite like the spirit of Christmas. It’s so rejuvenating and fresh. For the past two weeks, my house has been blanketed in beautiful, glorious snow – and with Christmas music starting to play on the radio, Kim making snow angels, and it’s starting to feel like Christmas. [...]

Hi Kim,
That picture of you and your little snowman makes me laugh every time I think of it. I keep a jar and add notes of things that make me happy: you and Frosty are both goin’ in! ![]()

[...] I got to experience all of these things today as I snuck out to play in the snow before the next foot of white stuff soon dumps on us. As I knelt in the snow and tried not to pay attention to the cold snow creeping in on my wrists, I heard knocking on a window. I looked up at our neighbor’s place across the way and saw a little sherpa smiling and waving, oozing glee. He was very excited about my new friends. He proceeded to knock and wave about every 45 seconds until I went inside. I wondered why he wasn’t out there also putting some of that enthusiasm into practice. He was having fun cheering me on, though. [...]

[...] It’s getting chilly here in Madison these days. I’ve been wearing my hat (which I DO love) on my morning walks. Even though it bums me to think about bundling up until at [...]
